The food, really tasty and the staff was attentive and super friendly. I can highly recommend this restaurant because everything was perfect 👌👍

We were there for dinner. Food was good. Here, too, it started with the fact that the mouth / nose protection was never worn properly. I no longer understand that. Nobody sat outside and inside spread 3 !!! Waiters quite hectic. We wanted a different side dish and sauce for the schnitzel. At first they wanted an outrageous surcharge for this. But we could agree.

The harmony in the restaurant and between the service staff is reflected on the plate. A wonderful evening with culinary delicacies that I will be happy to repeat. 👍👍

Unfortunately only average. For the high prices I would not have expected "convenience food". In my opinion, flavor enhancers are used here. What is not possible, however, is that the bill is not presented 5 minutes after the main course has finished without being asked. An invitation to go! I find that rude or even cheeky.

A service employee was very friendly. The second spoke neither German nor English, very difficult to communicate. The food came quickly. The sauerbraten was not recommended. Vegetables and sauces didn't taste good homemade. Changing table not available, the baby was allowed to change on a bench in the guest room. The fact that I threw the used diaper in the trash can in the women's toilet was not well received. I should take the 'stinky diaper' with me, please.

Nice occasional restaurant but beef fillet came well done instead of medium rare, vegetables overcooked and service not particularly friendly. Card payment didn't work either. Wouldn't eat here anymore.

Experience report July 2020 Food: 3 stars - You can tell that the spaetzle are prepared by Italians, since in my opinion this dish should not be declared as "spaetzle", but as a type of pasta. As a Swabian, I can clearly say that it has nothing to do with spaetzle, but still tastes good. The price for this meat quality is far too high. That was mediocre quality. The best thing on the plate was the chanterelles! Location: 4 stars - the restaurant is really well located, not with a view of Lake Constance, but of the promenade. Service: 0 stars - allergy sufferers should be careful, as many change requests are included in the order, but not implemented. Furthermore, a large sign would have to be put up outside that card payments are only permitted from EUR 30 or are not wanted at all. In the age of Covid-19, I think that's a mess, right now you should basically encourage card payments instead of preventing them. Conclusion: As long as the service does not change, this restaurant is not recommended. The first thing that should be abolished immediately is the CHF 30 minimum consumption for a card payment. This is an absolute no-go!

Food was mediocre - the roast partly tasted like it had been reheated. Service engages but far too quickly - you felt a bit handled. Card payments are only possible from 30 euros - the nineties are over!

The stuff was really friendly and the food is great. It's a lovely place for a meal to two or up to four people. I definitely recommend it.

Nice location and that's it. Price / performance ratio is not right at all! The fish was partly burnt and the potatoes were probably prepared in the morning. The pasta lacked the spices. The waiter had its own entertainment and looked strange

Top location, service friendly (sometimes a bit overzealous or too often at the table (while we were eating the empty ashtray was cleared away)) The food was mediocre. My chanterelles were served with a lot of forest (leftover moss etc.). The spaetzle weren't homemade and in my opinion they weren't real spaetzle, but rather egg noodles.

Top location, good service, unfortunately the food was NOT recommended! It tasted too much like finished products! We had pasta with prawns and baked pastries with salad. The swans were still on the shrimp, which is not a problem in principle, but there was no extra plate to remove the shell. The noodles were out of the pack and the sauce didn't taste like anything. We ordered extra for the dumplings without mushrooms, but they were promptly in the sauce. The sauce tasted like it was made out of the bag. The salad dressing also tasted like flavor enhancers ... the only positive thing was the nice service. All in all NOT recommendable.

Nice place, friendly service, good food. Absolute nogo: when paying, it was said that only cash payment is possible because the internet supposedly does not work and card payment is therefore not possible. Can't you communicate that beforehand? It smells a little bit on purpose.

We were rejected as a family with children. Supposedly they could not offer us space due to the Corona regulations. It's funny that the waiter assigned a table to a group right after us.

The best cheese spaetzle that I have eaten in a long time. Freshly made spaetzle with fresh onions and everything swirled in butter. In addition fresh leaf salads with 3 kinds of sprouts. My unreserved recommendation for a restaurant visit to Meersburg.

I just came back from there for diner and everything was good until the bill arrives which i was about to pay with a credit card. The waitress told me only from 30euros my bill was 24euros... i didn’t have cash on me... she said ‘the machine won’t let me charge under 30 euros’... really...

In the middle of a nice little pedestrian street located restaurant. The menu is varied and varied. Have come here spontaneously and were rewarded with a great meal. You basement are friendly and accommodating. We are happy to come back and look forward to the next time.

It is very good and very polished, but I preferred the Alemann Torkel which is owned by the same people. The Fischteller dish was excellent though, as was the service.
